In the United States, the fourth of July is time of national celebration of the freedoms we enjoy in this country.
However, it is also a great holiday to take your partner out on a romantic date!
During this time of year there are numerous activities of various size and scope you can take advantage of to serve as the backdrop for your next romantic outing.
Listed below are four romantic July 4th date ideas. So, go ahead and use these tips to spark your creativity!
Grab your partner and celebrate your relationship as well as our country's freedoms.
- Go to the movies. The fourth of July is traditionally the time when Hollywood debuts it's biggest "event" movies of the year. The perfect time to take your partner to the movies to enjoy all the spectacle the silver screen has to offer (and the popcorn too)!
- Plan a picnic for two. Many cities throughout the nation plan fireworks displays often held at various local and state parks. So, pack a dinner/lunch for two, grab a blanket and enjoy each other's company as well as those glorious firework displays!
- Play with sparklers. Playing with sparklers can be fun. Also, sparklers brings up fond memories of our youth. This is a great idea as an ice breaker for a first date. Try this: spell out specific words with your sparkler and have your date try to guess what it is. You may be surprised at how much fun you both have!
- Attend a local parade. Many communities are hosting parades. This is a great occasion for a daytime date. Watch the charming floats and talk about the feelings and/or memories they invoke. Another great way to start a meaningful conversation.
Again, let these ideas spark your imagination and remember to have fun!
Please have a safe and happy July 4th!

I also happen to be a HUGE picnic fan, so that idea is great as well. I have a small picnic section on my site (what to pack, etc) check it out if you get a chance!
Also, I love your site! It's chock full of creative ideas for dates. One of my favorites is during the winter, build a snowman with your partner, or have a snowball fight. Fun!
